Rapper Quavo was blunt in his assessment of the Colorado Buffaloes when he met up with Deion Sanders’ two sons, Shedeur and Shilo, in Paris this week.
The brothers have jetted off to France, skipping the first team meeting of the year to take part in Fashion Week. They met multiple celebrities, including Pharrell Williams and Quavo, the latter of whom gave them a strict talking to after they linked up at an event.
The Sanders boys likely weren’t expecting any football talk on their trip, but Quavo jumped right to it after meeting the young college stars, advising them to “tighten up.”
“Yall boys need to tighten up,” he’s heard saying in the video below. “Yall had too much Motion, they couldn’t handle the motion.”
The former Migos star then focused on Shilo, criticizing his coverage, or lack thereof.
“You can hit, you can tackle, but you know you got to cover. I’m just telling you what I see.”

The defensive back countered by claiming that teams are usually scared to throw the ball into his area of the field.
The Buffaloes finished 4-8 in the Sanders’ first season in Boulder. While it was a significant improvement from the previous 1-11 finish, they were expected to at least qualify for a bowl game in 2023.
Expectations will be even higher this year following some strong recruitment from Coach Prime.
