It will be a whole new Quinn Ewers for the Texas Longhorns in 2023.
Quinn Ewers will enter the 2023 season as the Texas Longhorns’ unquestioned starter at quarterback while looking rather different than he did just last season.
Ewers has put in the work on and off the field with his dietary regimen to become one of the most improved players on Texas’ roster.
Per Anwar Richardson, the Texas quarterback is “shredded” and has a six-pack after bulking up this offseason. He is said to weigh 210 lbs after he was listed as 204 lbs at the spring game.
Expectations have soared for the Longhorns entering their final season in the Big 12.
Ewers is one of several high-profile players that should help Texas return to Arlington for the Big 12 title game for the first time since 2018.

The Longhorns finished 8-5 on the season, but many around Austin believe if Ewers had never suffered an injury against Alabama, Texas could’ve won the conference.
In 10 games, Ewers threw for 2,177 yards, 15 touchdowns, and six interceptions while completing 54.4 percent of his throws.
In games against Alabama and Oklahoma, Ewers proved he was one of the top quarterbacks in the country, but he had inconsistent play in other games.
Hopefully, his new frame provides more from the QB position during all games.
