Everyone who tuned into tonight’s Colorado-Colorado State football game were hoping for an exciting contest. And that’s exactly what it has been.
We’ve had defensive touchdowns, late hits, and there have even been some punches thrown during this inner-state rivalry.
During the first quarter, on a kickoff following a Colorado touchdown, a Colorado State fumble resulted in a pretty wild sequence, that resulted in some punched being thrown between players from both teams.
After all of that, the Rams recovered the ball, and both teams were flagged for offsetting penalties.
It’s no surprise that this happened at some point during the ballgame, as things got heated between the teams even before they kicked off.

Based on what we’ve seen so far, this probably won’t be the last altercation between these two teams tonight, as Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes are clearly taking this one personal.
