The city of Atlanta was easily the most notable place on Friday where protesters made a lot of noise and damaged a bunch of places in the wake of the death of George Floyd.
Protesters smashed windows not only at CNN headquarters, but also at the College Football Hall of Fame in downtown Atlanta. They also damaged a Chick-fil-A restaurant next door to the museum.
Some in the crowd actually began to loot the building before several officers arrived to try to maintain order at the $68 million facility, which opened in 2014.
Several people are said to have hurled garbage cans and other objects through the glass exterior of the building while others rushed inside to grab anything they could.
