The Army Black Knights are the best team in the AAC right now. The team holds an undefeated record with seven games in the win column. The team wants to look good while winning, which may explain their recent move.
In their last game, the Army took on the East Carolina Pirates, where they would score five rushing touchdowns and take home a 45 to 28 victory. Signal caller Bryson Daily essentially carried the team.
The team is set to face off against the Air Force this Saturday in what could be one of the most upsetting losses of the team’s history. To prevent that, the Army is taking the mantra of “look good, play good” to heart.
Just recently, the team revealed their new helmets, which they will sport on Saturday when they take on the Air Force. The new design is taking social media by storm. Just take a look at the sleek black helmets.

Fans quickly jumped on the hype train supporting the Army’s new look. “Those are badass,” one fan said, while another jokingly added, “Honestly okay that my taxes pay for that.” However, not all fans are super happy with the move.

A fan of the team that the Army just completely ran over, offensively at least, complained that they are just taking East Carolina’s logo. “How are they gonna beat us and then use our logo for inspiration,” they complained.
While it may be possible that the Army did exactly that, the question is, who will stop them? At this point, it seems the army will remain undefeated for the rest of the season, but only time will tell whether or not they take a loss.
