ESPN’s Laura Rutledge has seen better days, and they included her not having issues with her attire.
It was quite a busy day for the ESPN reporter as she covered the highly anticipated matchup between No. 1 Texas and No. 18 Oklahoma.
It was an action-packed showdown that saw the return of Texas star quarterback Quinn Ewers following a near-month-long injury issue.
Unfortunately for Laura Rutledge, the Oklahoma Sooners would not be the only ones suffering issues on this day.
Rutledge took to Instagram before the game to reveal that she had suffered a bit of a wardrobe malfunction as she had an unfortunate stain on her shirt as she walked through the crowd.
“Alright guys, I just made it down here,” the SEC sideline reporter said as she walked on the field. “By the way, stain on my shirt walking through the crowd, but it’s the Red River Rivalry, you just gotta go for it.”

As for the game Laura Rutledge was covering, it was never close as Quinn Ewers returned from injury to lead No. 1 Texas to a 34-3 win over 18th-ranked Oklahoma on Saturday.
He went for 199 yards with a touchdown and ran for another score in the team’s first Red River Rivalry matchup.
Ewers finished 20-of-29 passing in his first game since an abdomen strain last month. Helping matters was him only being sacked for the only time in the first quarter.

Laura Rutledge Signed a Great Deal With ESPN To Become Permanent Fixture
Back in 2019, Laura Rutledge was easily one of the fastest-rising sports media personalities on any network. The Worldwide Leader in Sports made sure she stayed with them when they signed her to a long-term extension.
Rutledge was said to be a permanent fixture on “Get Up,” co-hosting ESPN’s morning show with Mike Greenberg as reported back then.
It wasn’t a hard decision, as ratings increased when she joined the show.
Rutledge is still hosting SEC Nation and featured on the SEC Network.
