Penn State defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton just turned in a compelling nomination for the best celebration of the 2023 NCAA season.
After tackling Michigan running back Donovan Edwards for a three-yard loss in the third quarter of Saturday’s game, Dennis-Sutton poked fun at the Wolverines by performing a “sign-stealing” celebration:
The NCAA is still investigating allegations that Jim Harbaugh’s Wolverines engaged in a sign-stealing scandal. The allegations date back to the 2021 season.
Michigan staffer Connor Stalions, the alleged centerpiece of the scandal, resigned from the university last week. On Friday, the Big Ten suspended Harbaugh for Michigan’s final three regular season games because of the alleged sign-stealing scandal as well as in-person scouting violations.
Michigan will next travel to Maryland for a showdown with the Terrapins next Saturday. They’ll wrap up their regular season on Nov. 25 with a can’t-miss home game against the archrival and No. 1 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes.
