The Pac-12 Conference is officially done. And it went out with quite the bang on Friday night.
The Washington Huskies came away with the massive 34-31 victory over the Oregon Ducks to remain undefeated, win the final Pac-12 title, and cement their spot in the College Football Playoff’s final four.
It was a happy moment for the Huskies, but a sad moment for everyone else who loved watching all of the action from a conference that is over 100 years old.
The man who many believe was responsible for the Pac-12’s demise, commissioner George Kliavkoff, was present for the final Pac-12 Conference Championship trophy presentation. And everyone watching on television couldn’t help but notice how he cowardly handed the victors their trophy before scurrying off the stage without saying a single word.
Social media took notice and immediately blasted Kliavkoff for his cowardly move:
