IT’S PERSONAL! AGAIN!
Despite what we’ve seen happen to the last three teams who took pregame shots at Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes, the Oregon Ducks weren’t shying away from administering a few jabs prior to today’s Pac-12 battle in Eugene.
In fairness to the Ducks, they had a pretty big bone to pick with Colorado after several Buffaloes players were seen disrespecting the Oregon logo at midfield upon their arrival at Autzen Stadium.
So when it was Oregon’s turn to make their way onto the field prior to kickoff today, the Ducks’ mascot went all out in his attempt to send a message to Coach Prime… and it actually cost him his head.
Prior to the game, while walking out with the Oregon players, the Oregon Duck could be seen dressed like Deion Sanders with his cowboy hat, sunglasses and giant chain. Then, suddenly, he whipped out a giant mallet and started bashing away at a clock that said, “Prime.”
Unfortunately for the Oregon Duck, he got a little too excited and lost his head in the moment… literally!

Making it “personal” hasn’t worked out well for the Buffaloes’ last three opponents, but it seems to be doing the trick for Oregon, as they hold a commanding 13-0 lead through the first quarter of play.
