As if this game wasn’t already ugly enough at the halfway point…
The Oregon Ducks took a 35-0 lead into halftime against Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes. At that point, you might expect the Ducks to take their foot off the gas just a bit. But Oregon head coach Dan Lanning has other plans.
While speaking to ESPN at the half, Lanning warned everyone that his players “aren’t done yet.”
“I hope those people that have been watching every week are watching this week,” he told everyone tuning in at home.
Lanning hasn’t been shy about taking his shots at the Ducks. He’s clearly not a fan of the way they’ve conducted themselves as a program since Deion Sanders’ arrival. At least that’s what it seems like after he was caught telling his players, “They’re playing for clicks, we’re playing for wins,” during his pregame speech:

Let’s see if Lanning keeps his promise and runs this score up even more in the second half.
