Tell us how you really feel, coach!
ESPN’s cameras were in the Oregon Ducks locker room prior to their highly-anticipated Pac-12 battle against Colorado. And good thing they were, because they caught quite the pregame interview from Dan Lanning.
The Ducks head coach was making things very personal as he talked to his players in the locker room, telling them, “They’re playing for clicks, we’re playing for wins.” It was clearly a direct shot at the flashy style that Deion Sanders has exhibited since taking over in Boulder.
Whether you like Lanning’s pregame message or not, it seemed to work on his players. They currently hold a commanding 28-0 lead against Colorado late in the first half.
Lanning wasn’t the only one taking shots at Sanders and the Buffaloes either. The Ducks’ mascot got in on the act as well.
