Olivia Dunne has revealed the terrifying reason why she no longer attends her classes at LSU in person.
The Louisianna State University gymnast and influencer, who is already one of the young college athletes who earn the most money due to various endorsements, recently spoke on an encounter with a stalker that led to her electing to take all of her college classes online.
Via a recent interview with NJ Advance Media:
“I had a scare once with a message that I got about a class I was going to, and I was like, you know what, it’s not worth it,” Dunne told NJ Advance Media. “It was a threat. It seemed like they knew where I was at and what class, and I just decided better (to be) safe than sorry.”
The site also obtained a copy of an LSU police report from December 2021 that indicated Dunne received death threats on Instagram that day from a stalker who threatened to “shoot up” campus. No arrests were made.
Dunne, who has 4.4 million Instagram followers, blocked the individual on the platform. However, as you know, it is not hard to make another account.

Two months later one man would be stopped inside LSU’s practice facility while watching Dunne and the other gymnasts. Charges were not filed against the unidentified man.
This isn’t the first time Dunne has opened up on her reasoning for going virtual.
In July, she told ELLE that there had been “some scares in the past, and I just want to be as careful as possible,” adding: “I don’t want people to know my daily schedule and where I am.”
The 21-year-old college gymnast and social media superstar is getting set to go through her final year of college and gymnastics this year.
