The top college earner in 2023 has been revealed, and the name probably should not come as a surprise.
The emergence of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) has already made millionaires out of a number of college stars. But some of them have fared way better than others.
LSU Tigers star Olivia Dunne is revealed to be the one who tops them all, at least according to NIL collective director Walker Jones, who took the stand as a witness during the 10th Congressional hearing on the program that has made it so that athletes could be paid in college.
Jones was asked by Senator Lindsey Graham who makes the most money through NIL and he named Dunne.
On3’s Sports Nil Valuation tool has the gymnast at No. 3 on the earnings rankings, behind Bronny James and Shedeur Sanders. But the tool can only give estimations, which is why Jones’ claim now supersedes.
Dunne is believed to have a net worth of over $3.5 million at the moment.

She’s had an eventful year and was recently on the cover of Sports Illustrated alongside another LSU star, Angel Reese.
“People definitely discredit what I do,” she said in reference to her financial status. “People need to understand that I’ve worked for everything I’ve earned. I’ve spent years building an audience, and brands pay me for what they believe is worth the reach of the demographic that I offer.”
