LSU star and social media celebrity Olivia Dunne has admitted that some of the messages she gets from fans are “concerning.”
The gymnast is one of the most popular college athletes and, where social media is concerned, is the outright popularity leader.
She’s also attracted multiple NIL deals since the program’s introduction, making her the top college earner in the game.
Given her fame, Olivia is unsurprisingly very sought-after, as evidenced by the way fans act around her.
The 20-year-old was interviewed by the Today Show this week and was asked whether she’s ever received threats.
“Yeah, there are some people that occasionally do reach out and it is a bit concerning,” noting an incident from 2022 that prompted police involvement.

It was pointed out that some folks believe the type of posts displayed on Olivia’s social media pages would lead to that kind of attention from males. But she was quick to rubbish the assertion.
“As a woman, you’re not responsible for how a man looks at you and objectifies you. That’s not a woman’s responsibility,” she rightly countered.
