Former 5-star defensive end prospect Chase Young is likely the next big thing at Ohio State. Not only on the field, but just how he is built as a massive human being.
The Buckeyes recently announced their 2019 captains for the upcoming season, and Young, who was named one of them, looked like a massive beast of a man standing next to his teammates.
Chase Young is listed at 6-foot-5 and 265 pounds on Ohio State’s website, and as you stare at that picture, you can see that he embodies every bit of those measurements. Young is standing by running back J.K. Dobbins (5-foot-10, 217 pounds), wide receiver K.J. Hill (6-foot-0, 195 pounds), and Jonathan Cooper (6-foot-4, 257 pounds).
After Nick Bosa went down due to injury in 2018, Young stepped his game up and racked up 9.5 sacks and 14.5 tackles for loss.
“I mean, everybody wants to be the best. That’s what I strive for everyday is just to be the best player I can be, and if it’s No. 1, No. 2 or No. 3, then it is what it is. But I just know for myself, I want to go down as the best,” Young said back in August, per 247sports.

That looks like a top-5 draft pick If I ever saw one.
