The Ohio State Buckeyes appeared to have taken a shot at their bitter rivals ahead of this weekend’s outing.
The program will be playing against Minnesota on Saturday and, per their tradition, their players will be handed buckeyes with special messages attached. Each buckeye will carry some encouraging words and, this time around, it looks as if the Michigan Wolverines are getting trolled.
ABC’s Kellyanne Stitts has revealed that one of them bears the phrase “Ohio Against the World,” which seems like a response to the Wolverines’ “Michigan vs. Everybody” shirts they’ve been wearing for the past few weeks.
It will be interesting to see how things play out after this weekend as the Buckeyes and Wolverines will square off against each other in a highly-anticipated regular-season finale after their respective games this weekend.
They could be playing for more than pride as a spot in the Big Ten title game, as well as one in the College Football Playoffs, are likely to be at stake.
Ohio State hasn’t gotten a win over Michigan since 2019 and will be keen on a victory this time around, while the Wolverines will try to make it the third time they beat the Buckeyes in three straight matchups in nearly 30 years.
