There was a time when Will Howard was thought to be an option for Nebraska football, now it looks like he’s headed elsewhere
Former Kansas State quarterback Will Howard was trending on social media after Ohio State’s lackluster performance in the 2023 Cotton Bowl.
On Monday, Pete Nakos of On3 provided an update on the Buckeyes’ search for another standout signal caller to hopefully lead them to the promised land.
According to Nakos, there’s a lot of buzz surrounding the Ohio State Buckeyes and Kansas State transfer QB Will Howard.
“Buy the buzz on Ohio State,” Nakos said. “I definitely think Will Howard and Ohio State have been in conversations. I can definitely see it coming together.”
Will Howard has 5,786 passing yards and 48 passing touchdowns during his time as a Kansas State quarterback. He took over as the Wildcats starting quarterback this season. He had an 8-4 record, with 2,643 passing yards and 24 touchdowns. He also added 364 yards and nine touchdowns on the ground.
