Bryce Underwood, the No.1 quarterback in the 2025 class will announce his commitment on January 6, 2024, and his choice is now down to seven schools.
The youngster threw for 2,888 yards, 39 touchdowns, and four interceptions as a high school freshman, scrambling for six scores himself to lead the Belleville Tigers to a 13-1 record and the Michigan Division I state championship.
He followed that season up with a 2,752-yard season, throwing for 37 TDs while rushing for 642 yards to get into the end zone on eight occasions. With his junior campaign now well underway, the QB has 2,051 yards and 26 touchdowns to his name, rushing for four TDs in nine games.
Michigan, Penn State, Colorado, and LSU are understood to be the frontrunners in the recruitment race and he has since taken game day visits to all of the programs, save Michigan.
According to On3’s Hayes Fawcett, Underwood is considering Alabama, Oregon, and Florida State, as well as the aforementioned four schools.
It’s believed that the Wolverines and the Tigers have moved ahead in the race but the Buffaloes are also thought to be serious contenders on the back of the player visiting Boulder when Deion Sanders’ side played Colorado State in September.
