Nick Saban is calling it a career. The longtime Alabama head coach told his team on Wednesday that he was retiring.
Saban won six national championships with Alabama and one with LSU. His seven titles are the most by any coach in college football history.
So now that the 72-year-od doesn’t have to run up and down the sidelines yelling at his players and at refs, what is up next for him?
Some seem to think he is headed for television.

Saban spent 17 seasons at Alabama and built one of the best programs in the sport’s history in Tuscaloosa. He won six national championships there, three of which came in the College Football Playoff era.
What turned out to be his final season, Saban led the Crimson Tide back to the playoff this year, though they fell to Michigan in the Rose Bowl.
Saban compiled a career college record of 297-71-1. If he does not unretire, he’ll finish at No. 5 on the all-time win list, 112 wins behind all-time leader Joe Paterno.
