Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban seemed very uncomfortable after co-host David Pollack directed a certain bit of praise Georgia’s way during the 2023 College Football National Championship game’s halftime show.
The Bulldogs were on their way to a demolition result against the TCU Horned Frogs on Monday night, going into halftime with a 38-7 lead. They’ve just about cemented their place as college football’s supremos, having won the national title last year as well.
It doesn’t seem like that’s something Saban is ready to accept, however. The Alabama HC did not seem pleased at all after Pollack claimed Georgia had “taken a hold of college football.”
You could see his reaction below:
Saban would have been elsewhere had the Crimson Tide been involved on Monday night, but he was helping ESPN with their coverage of the game, having failed to lead his program to the playoffs this season.
The Bulldogs, on the other hand, held a 65-7 lead at the time of writing. Even Saban will find that hard to argue with.
