New Orleans Pelicans star rookie Zion Williamson is preparing for the NBA restart later this month, but in the meantime, he has some off-the-court issues he has to deal with.
The investigation into whether he or his family received improper benefits while in college continues as it is now being alleged that Williamson and his family broke NCAA rules by accepting money from a sports agency.
Zion Williamson and his stepfather are alleged to have accepted $400,000 from an agency for exclusive marketing rights while Williamson was attending Duke University in October 2018.
Wallach added that witness Donald Kreiss contacted Gina Ford, who is the marketing agent who is suing Williamson, and provided a copy of a marketing agreement between Williamson and Maximum Management Group.
The 2019 No. 1 overall pick was briefly represented by her agency, Prime Sports Marketing, last year.

Williamson sued and broke the contract with Prime Sports and eventually signed with CAA. Ford responded by countersuing and alleging Williamson received impermissible benefits to attend Duke and also to sign with Nike.
Zion and Duke have been pretty quiet about this ordeal throughout.
