The Patriots have six championships since 2002 and they have visited the White House every time they’ve won a title.
That all might come to an end in 2019, not because the team doesn’t like who’s in office, but because the Patriots’ offseason schedule may not make it possible for the team to visit President Trump, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss.
“After the Patriots won their first five Super Bowls, they visited the White House on the following dates:
April 2, 2002
May 10, 2004
April 13, 2005
April 23, 2015
April 19, 2017The club hasn’t visited this year, and now that April and May have passed, it makes a sixth visit more of a logistical challenge, in part because players and coaches are taking final vacations before the start of training camp.”
There are still a bunch of players from the 2017 squad still on the 2019 team, so they’ve already experienced going to the White House anyway.
If you can remember, that 2017 picture from the visit was vastly different from the one in 2015.

Just so we’re clear, the Patriots not visiting Trump is not a political statement or Trump not wanting them to show up. The calendar just didn’t work out for either side this year.
At least the team gets to stay out of the political fray and won’t get any backlash from the fan base that is more than likely very divided on politics.
