Tylin “Tybo” Rogers, a running back for the University of Washington, has been accused of raping a Seattle Community College student and a University of Washington student in fall 2023 and now Alabama is enthralled in the matter.
Seattle police officers arrested 18-year-old Tylin “Tybo” Rogers on Friday, and he was promptly booked into King County Jail, NBC Affiliate KING-TV reported.
On Tuesday, the University of Washington football player was charged with second-degree rape and third-degree rape, and his bail was set at $150,000 in each case, according to court documents.
New Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer has a huge issue on his hands as he reportedly allowed running back Tylin Rogers to suit up and play in the College Football Playoff following those disturbing allegations.
The report says the two women met with Rogers after matching with him on Tinder. Both alleged rape incidents were said to have happened between October and November of last year. That same woman also attempted to warn others on social media of what happened to them.
Kalen DeBoer’s coaching staff seemingly made reference to knowing about the incidents after a staffer’s response to Rogers’ removal from the roster for a short time.
“I can’t comment on what it was exactly, but Tybo’s done a great job with being here, listening to directions, just working through this moment, and really being a good steward of the team.

Multiple emails were said to be sent within the University of Washington athletic department confirming Rogers should be taken off the team’s travel roster for the Pac-12 championship game.
Rogers did not travel with the team to the Pac-12 championship game, but then head coach Kalen DeBoer allowed him to play in the Sugar Bowl against Texas and the College Football Playoff National Championship Game against Michigan.
In Washington’s 34-13 loss to Michigan in the previous season’s national championship game with Kalen DeBoer still over the team, Rogers had one rush for 2 yards and one reception for 11 yards after carrying the ball 44 times for 184 yards during the regular season.
Rogers has been suspended from all team activities until further notice, the University of Washington athletic department said in a statement this week.
