Nebraska Cornhuskers fans know exactly who they want as the next head coach for the team.
Nebraska football is looking to turn around their poor start to the season when they face Oklahoma on Saturday. After firing Scott Frost recently, the team is also still looking for a new head coach.
The fan base already knows who it should be.
Just listen to these chants during the Fox broadcast as they called for Urban Meyer, who was in attendance.
“We want Urban!”
Meyer gave them what they wanted when he responded, “Regardless of the score, regardless of the record, this is the best fan base I’ve ever coached against,” he said.

Despite what happened in the NFL with the Jags, any program would welcome Meyer to coach them in the college ranks.
Frost was with Nebraska football since 2018 but failed to produce a single winning season. Once the team got upset by Georgia Southern in Week 2, it marked the end of his tenure in Lincoln.
