Kyren Lacy was booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex early Sunday evening and posted bail. The bond was set at $151,000 in total.
According to Louisiana State Police, the charges stem from a traffic crash on December 17, 2024, where he was allegedly involved in the killing of a former Marine and the injuring of two others.
Lacy was allegedly illegally passing several vehicles while in an area where passing was not permitted. Louisiana State Police allege Lacy was driving a 2023 Dodge Charger and “recklessly passed multiple vehicles at a high rate of speed by crossing the centerline and entering the northbound lane while in a designated No-Passing Zone.”

Despite him declaring for the draft, he is unlikely to be taken or signed with any team.
No team will want this type of distraction, no matter what type of talent he might possess.
Kyren Lacy was second for LSU in catches with 58 and yards receiving with 866 during the 2024 season and led the team in touchdowns receiving with nine in 12 games.
