Additional details pertaining to the arrest of former Alabama Crimson tide junior Darius Miles have been disclosed following the basketball player’s capital murder charge.
Miles and another individual by the name of Michael Davis have both been charged for the aforementioned offense on the back of the shooting death of a woman, Jamea Harris, who was killed on The Strip in Tuscaloosa on Sunday morning.
According to police filings made public this Tuesday, which have since been obtained by TMZ, Miles provided the firearm used to commit the act to Davis, the gunman.
The filings state that the 23-year-old woman was shot by Davis while sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle that was stopped on the stretch, which is near Alabama’s campus. Cops say she succumbed to her wounds shortly after.
Details On The Motive
Tuscaloosa Police Capt. Jack Kennedy told a news conference it appeared “the only motive was a minor altercation that these individuals had with the victim as they were out on The Strip,” on Sunday.
Miles and Davis were arrested on Sunday and, as mentioned above, have been charged with capital murder.
