Missouri Tigers football safety Stacy Brown found himself being arrested on Monday, according to a report by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
The junior DB’s arrest came on “suspicion of possession and delivery of a controlled substance” and “unlawful possession of a firearm.”
According to the school, Brown has been suspended indefinitely after the arrest.
“We’re aware of the situation involving Stacy Brown. He is suspended …” said Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz in a statement. Adding, “We’ll continue to gather information and determine the best course of action.”
The 21-year-old played in nine games for the Tigers this past season, but mostly as a backup safety and special teamer.
