Missouri quarterback Kelly Bryant exited Saturday’s game against Troy with a leg injury after taking a late hit below his left knee.
Just before halftime, Bryant extended the Tigers’ lead to 42–7 after throwing a six-yard touchdown pass to Jalen Knox, but after that pass, Troy defensive tackle Travis Sailo took Bryant out with a late and dirty hit.
Bryant immediately fell to the ground and grabbed his knee in pain.
Bryant would return to the sidelines with crutches. He finished the game going 12 for 19 with 221 yards and three touchdowns, and he rushed for an additional score in the first quarter.
