Mississippi State coach Mike Leach got himself in hot water last week for a tweet he sent out that showed a meme of a woman knitting a noose, with the caption stating, “After 2 weeks of quarantine with her husband, Gertrude decided to knit him a scarf.”

Leach eventually apologized for his actions. “I sincerely regret if my choice of images in my tweets were found offensive. I had no intention of offending anyone,” the new Bulldogs head coach wrote.
