Miss America 2025 Abbie Stockard is likely very familiar to some college football fans as she used to cheer for an NCAA program.
Stockard beat 50 competitors as she was named Miss America in Orlando, Florida, on Sunday night. The event featured a contestant from each U.S. state and one from Puerto Rico and was pretty stiff as competition went.
Abbie would be the one crowned.
“I want to express my deepest thanks to my friends, family, the amazing Miss Alabama board, and the wonderful people of Alabama for making me feel so appreciated and loved,” she wrote.
The 22-year-old nursing student attends Auburn and was a cheerleader for the Tigers. She won the Miss Alabama pageant before starting her senior year in college last June and has since gone one better.
As suggested above, Abbie is studying to become a nurse. However, she has taken a liking to modeling as well, which has apparently proven quite worthwhile. She has also turned heads as a dancer for the Tigers.

Abbie Stockard Is The Fourth Miss Alabama To Win Miss America
The winner of the Miss America competition gets to tour the world as a winner over the next year while also receiving $50,000 in prize money.
Abbie is the fourth Miss Alabama to win the national title, following Deidre Downs, Miss America 2005; Heather Whitestone, Miss America 1995; and Yolande Betbeze, Miss America 1951.
A Miss Alabama hadn’t won the honor in 20 years. But Abbie has declared that she’s ready for the job as she begins her reign.
