Amid multiple NCAA investigations and scandals — including the FBI looking into Matt Weiss and the NCAA’s investigations into cheating allegations — a new report has come out that is easily the worst thing that has gone on with the football program.
A Michigan football staff member was reportedly fired earlier this fall.
According to 247Sports, low-level Michigan Wolverines football staffer Alex Yood allegedly planned to meet a 13-year-old girl but it turns out it was someone portraying themselves as an underaged girl.
Yood was reportedly fired after a video was posted on Instagram that depicts him allegedly attempting to solicit someone who he thought was a 13-year-old girl.
One of the men in the video, nicknamed ‘Boopac,’ would tragically be shot and killed after he attempted to catch another alleged child predator trying to meet a young person.
Soon after the video of Yood allegedly soliciting a minor was released, the Michigan football program fired Yood.

Somehow, he has not been charged in the 15th District Court or the Washtenaw County Trial Court. In the video, Alex Yood claims that he thought he was meeting with an adult.
While Yood is no longer with the Michigan football program, this is yet another headline that shines another bad light on the Wolverines.
Despite so much terrible news, Michigan football will face Purdue this weekend at the Big House in their first game since crushing Michigan State, 49-0.
