Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh could be suspended for the majority of the 2024 NCAA season, according to insider Bruce Feldman.
Speaking on FOX Sports’ “Big Noon Kickoff”, Feldman reported that it won’t “be surprising if” the NCAA suspends the 59-year-old Harbaugh for most of next season. Harbaugh is serving the second of a three-game suspension for in-person scouting violations as well as allegations that the Wolverines engaged in a sign-stealing scheme.
There is growing speculation that the former San Francisco 49ers’ head coach will go back to the NFL. If Harbaugh is suspended for most of 2024, that could very well entice him to return to the NFL after all.
And of course, there would be absolutely no shortage of teams interested in hiring Harbaugh as their head coach.
The Wolverines, currently ranked No. 3 in the country, are visiting the Maryland Terrapins today. They’ll wrap up their regular season with a pivotal home game against the Ohio State Buckeyes next Saturday.
