Football fans watching the Michigan Wolverines-Penn State Nittany Lions game on FOX had one simple (and rather fair) complaint about the broadcast.
This game carried plenty of hype for two reasons: 1) it’s a showdown of two top ten teams and 2) kickoff took place less than 24 hours after the Big Ten announced a three-game suspension for Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh.
Unfortunately for fans, the dramatic back-and-forth game had a plethora of stoppages…which meant seemingly never-ending commercial breaks:

Harbaugh was suspended for Michigan’s final three regular season games due to in-person scouting violations and allegations that the Wolverines engaged in a sign-stealing scandal. The allegations of the sign-stealing date back to 2021.
Harbaugh and the school filed a request for a temporary restraining order against the Big Ten, hoping it will block his suspension. The No. 3 ranked Wolverines finish their regular season against No. 1 ranked Ohio State on Nov. 5.
