Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh is a wanted man.
The Los Angeles Chargers are understood to have him on top of their list while the Las Vegas Raiders and Carolina Panthers are also likely to harbor some interest (pun intended).
The Wolverines, on the other hand, are doing all they can to keep the veteran coach around and, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, have offered him a 10-year deal worth $125 million. The contract would come with a clause that would prevent him from pursuing or accepting an NFL job for the 2024 season.
Harbaugh has also been offered a shorter-term deal to the tune of $11 million per year, though there’s nothing on whether there would be a clause preventing him from considering an appointment in the pros.
