Michigan Wolverines star guard Zak Zinter had to be carted off in the third quarter of Saturday’s marquee game against the Ohio State Buckeyes with an injury.
Zinter was injured in the third quarter in what looked like an ankle injury. The 22-year-old and 2022 First-team All-Big Ten selection received thunderous cheers from the Michigan crowd as he was taken off the field:
Michigan responded with a Blake Corum touchdown that put them up front late in the third quarter. Corum gave a nod to Zinter by holding up “six” and “five” fingers (a reference to Zinter’s No. 65).
