Donovan Edwards has some serious explaining to do.
The Michigan Wolverines running back has come under heavy fire online as it appeared he shared an antisemitic tweet featuring Kanye West.
The tweet reads, “Jewish people will literally tell you that they want to kill your own and humiliate your women simply because they have children to feed.”
Below that message was a Kanye West interview where he continues to spread anti-semitic hate.
At this point, it remains unclear whether Edwards will face discipline.
Edwards wold soon delete the retweet and explain himself.

“The retweet was a glitch. I speak for myself. I know what’s in my heart. I am unequivocally against racism, exploitation & oppression in all forms, including stereotyping and trafficking in hate. I have nothing but love for others & I never judge anyone based on race or religion,” he wrote on Twitter.
Just this week alone, Adidas has parted ways with Kanye over his words. Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald and Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown both separated from Ye’s Donda Sports agency over his remarks as well.
The sophomore running back has played in five games for the undefeated Wolverines this season. He has 307 rushing yards and four touchdowns as well as eight catches for 89 yards and a receiving score.
Michigan is set to play Michigan State this week.
