The No. 3-ranked University of Michigan football team used a pair of Blake Corum touchdown runs and a Rod Moore interception with 25 seconds left to clinch a 30-24 victory over No. 2 Ohio State on Saturday at Michigan Stadium.
The Wolverines’ win, their third consecutive over their rival, secured the Big Ten East Division crown and a trip to the Big Ten Championship Game No. 20 Iowa.
Before that game officially ended, a longtime Michigan announcer had a very classy gesture for his future replacement that got him praised.
Doug Karsch decided to hand over his headset to over to his predecessor, Jim Brandstatter, for the final play on Saturday.
Brandstatter called games at Michigan from 1979-2021.
