The Miami Hurricanes suffered two brutal loses on Saturday.
Not only did they lose to ACC rivals Florida State in a close battle that came down to the wire, but they also likely lost star QB Emory Williams for the remainder of the season based on the reports that were coming in from the field after he suffered his injury.
During the Hurricanes’ final drive, as they were looking to tie the game up with a touchdown, Williams was tackled on a 4th & 2 play with just over two minutes remaining.
The brave Canes QB managed to get the first down to keep the drive alive, but he also suffered a brutal arm injury that left him “loudly crying in pain” on the field as the medical team attended to him.
No word on the extent of the injury, but it did not look good.

And to make matters worse, Williams’ backup Tyler Van Dyke threw an interception on a 4th down play with 40 seconds left to seal the Seminoles’ victory, 27-20.
