Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
During Saturday’s college football game between Memphis and Charlotte, a Tigers player was drilled right in the groin by a referee’s yellow flag after the play.
At first he appeared to shake it off. However, as anyone who’s experienced a shot to the junk knows, sometimes it takes a few seconds for the pain to really settle in — which is what appears to have happened in this instance.
On the bright side, his team was able to emerge with the 44-38 victory in overtime, improving their record to 8-2 on the season and 5-1 in American Athletic Conference play.
