Marvin Harrison Jr. has shared that the ankle injury he suffered two weeks ago is even worse than the one he sustained last season.
The wide receiver hurt the joint during Ohio State’s win over Notre Dame two weeks ago, yet he was fortunate enough to have a bye last weekend as he got some extra time to rest. And, with the Buckeyes scheduled to play Maryland this weekend, he’s looking forward to getting back out there, though he has admitted that the sprained ankle he suffered last season wasn’t as bad as this current one.
“I would say it’s worse than the one last year, but I’m good enough to play,” he explained.
The 21-year-old dealt with said issue for most of last season and there were fears he could miss significant time after going down vs. the Fighting Irish last month. However, he was able to finish the game, making some crucial plays to help the Buckeyes to a big win.
“Definitely adrenaline,” he confessed. “The next day I couldn’t really move too much, but definitely a lot of adrenaline and just the moment of the game.”
A win against the Terrapins this Saturday would see the Buckeyes move to 5-0 for the season.
