Former NFL running back Mark Ingram is as tough as they come, but he was no match for the St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail Sauce he tried on Saturday night.
The three-time Pro Bowler and former Heisman was with FOX for their coverage of the Big Ten Championship game and ended up sampling the iconic spicy sauce after his colleague, Matt Leinart, had a go at it.
While Leinart didn’t struggle at all, Mark nearly passed out on the set, rubbing his nose vigorously as he instantly regretted the decision.
“That’s a bad decision, Mark Ingram. Bad decision,” Big Noon Kickoff’s Rob Stone advised.
“I’m breathing smoke out my nose, dawg,” Ingram said when he caught his breath. “Straight dragon!”
Leinart, who was beside himself with laughter, had a bottle of water on hand that Mark was happy to take off him.

“That horseradish, man,” he lamented.
Well, Mark’s not the first. He’s not going to be the last.
