Gymnast and social media superstar Olivia Dunne has teased a ‘big announcement’ for this week as the social media sensation’s future plans have yet to be announced.
Olivia Dunne does have one final year of eligibility remaining at LSU, so it seems her IG announcement could be about that.
The 21-year-old Dunne’s collegiate eligibility is almost up, but her star power is just increasing—especially in light of LSU’s recent national championship victory. As the most lucrative collegiate athlete of the name, image, and likeness era, Dunne is expected to make a lot more money if she stays at LSU.
One of the critical members of that team, Haleigh Bryant, announced her return for another season, so Olivia Dunne might be following in her footsteps.
While rocking a gray tank top and the same colored shorts, Dunne posed from her bedroom and captioned her picture, “Big announcement tomorrow.”
The NCAA granted participants another year of competition after COVID-19. Therefore, she is qualified for another season.

In a recent interview, Dunne dropped hints about her decision.

“I did have a meeting with the coaches today, actually, and we did come to a decision,” she said.

Olivia Dunne Did Not Compete In NCAA Final But Was Huge Part of Team
When LSU captured its first NCAA gymnastics championship on Saturday, Olivia Dunne was one of the first people to have her hand on the elusive trophy. However, she did not compete in the NCAA final as she watched from the sidelines.
Dunne was a vital part of the Tigers’ successful season. In March, LSU gymnastics earned its fifth SEC Championship title with a score of 198.075, matching the program’s highest score at the championships.
Dunne has the chance to extend her NCAA journey until April 2025 and line her bank account with even more money.
