Over the weekend, it was announced that LSU would be parting ways with Ed Orgeron after the season. Now that his future is done at the program, other things have begun to leak out about his tenure there.
The Athletic’s Brody Miller reported that Orgeron was accused of hitting on the pregnant wife of an LSU official at a gas station.
WBRZ’s Matt Trent also reported Sunday that Orgeron had “girlfriends” at LSU practice.
“With regards to Orgeron’s personal life bleeding into his coaching life, sources also tell WBRZ that there were multiple practices where ‘girlfriends’ would be in attendance at practice and would ‘interfere,’” Trent reported on Twitter. “To the degree of children of the women taking part in drills with team.”
LSU quarterback Myles Brennan, who has been with the program since 2017, responded to that fiery report.

“I have been at LSU for quite some time now and can confirm this has never happened,” Brennan replied. “Not once.”
Matt Trent has yet to respond back, which has fans thinking this is just a smear campaign to hurt his chances of securing another top head coaching job.
The 60-year-old Orgeron filed for divorce from his wife in April 2020. The two were married for 23 years, but had been living apart for a few months before the divorce filing.
LSU is 4-3 this season after going 5-5 last year.
