Several Louisville football players came to the rescue of a crash that occurred near L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium.
Louisville Metro Police Officers responded to a rollover crash at the intersection of Central Avenue and Floyd Street. Players on the team were able to help the driver out and flip the car back over.
The Louisville Metro Police Department shared a video of the heroic act. Only one person was hurt in the accident and that was the driver who suffered minor injuries, per the LMPD.
Louisville’s football team is filled with winners on and off the field.
On the field, they are 3-0 heading into Week 4, claiming victories over Georgia Tech, Murray State and Indiana. Quarterback Jack Plummer threw for 238 yards and a touchdown last Saturday as the Cardinals defeated the Hoosiers.
Plummer has thrown for 732 yards and four touchdowns but has been picked off four times in the first three games as well.

The Louisville Cardinals face Boston College this weekend at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium. Boston College is 1-2, with a narrow season-opening loss to Northern Illinois and a near-upset of now No. 3 Florida State.
