The social media age has unfortunately created something called ‘influencers’ who will stop at nothing to get those likes from people as they show off their so-called extravagant lifestyle.
Such was the case when a video popped up on social media showing a young lady posing with a drill and taking a pictures as if she was actually helping out a community that had been affected by looting from protesters.
Online commenters were angry that the woman appeared to be pretending to help for the sake of a photo op. Not only that, she proceeded to hop into a black Mercedes-Benz to quickly leave, as they were parked in a red zone, she yells, “Good job, you guys! BLM!”
LeBron James also came across that video and called out that woman as well with several emojis.
The woman’s identity was confirmed by New York Times journalist Taylor Lorenz as Fiona Moriarty-McLaughlin, an intern with the Washington Examiner.
