Lane Kiffin’s coaching career could be in jeopardy as audio from a conversation he had with a player who avoided a meeting with him due to a “mental health break” has leaked.
A report detailing an exchange between the Ole Miss head coach and former defensive tackle DeSanto Rollins surfaced some time ago after the player was kicked off the team for taking what seems to be unsanctioned time off.
The break saw Rollins avoid the HC for two weeks after being asked to report to him and his aloofness resulted in him getting booted off the roster.
Audio footage from their conversation has since leaked, with Front Office Sports’ A.J. Perez sharing it online.

While some have interpreted this as harsh, most fans took Kiffin’s side as they pointed out that avoiding your boss for two weeks would probably result in you getting fired from most jobs.
Rollins has since filed a lawsuit against the University of Mississippi claiming $40 million over emotional distress.
Kiffin and the school are looking to have it dismissed.
