Kirk Herbstreit is one of the most popular and respected analysts in the world of football, and rightfully so.
Let’s just say that the man is incredibly loyal and committed to both his job and his role as a family man. As pointed out by Front Office Sports, Herbstreit had the craziest 72-hour travel commute from Thursday until today.
Herbstreit was in Philadelphia to call the Eagles’ Thursday night home game against the Minnesota Vikings alongside Al Michaels on Amazon Prime Video. He then flew 478 miles to watch his son’s football game on Friday night.’
Herbstreit then had to travel 1,115 miles for ESPN’s “College GameDay” show on Saturday morning, before traveling 1,479 more miles to call the Florida Gators’ home game against the Tennessee Volunteers.
The veteran ESPN college football analyst joined Amazon Prime Video last year after they secured the rights to “Thursday Night Football.” Let’s just say he’s really going to have earned this week’s paycheck.
