One player in Michigan State has had enough and he is leaving the program.
According to On3’s Matt Zenitz, offensive lineman Keyshawn Blackstock entered the transfer portal just days after the team got blown out by Michigan.
It should be noted that the transfer window is typically closed during the season, but it re-opened for 30 days after the school fired Mel Tucker on Sept. 27.
Blackstock ranked as the No. 6 overall recruit and premier interior offensive lineman in 2021. The JUCO transfer joined Tucker’s program in December. With the coach now fired and the team having no clear direction, he is headed out
Also the 6-foot-5, 300-pounder hadn’t carved out a meaningful role for the Spartans.
No. 2 Michigan didn’t let up on in-state rival Michigan State on Saturday, cruising to a 49-0 win and improving to 8-0 on the season. Notably, it was also the worst loss by the Spartans at home in the 100-year history of Spartan Stadium, topping the 42-0 loss to U-M in 1983.

MSU had not been shut out in the rivalry since a 14-0 loss in 2000 in Ann Arbor and hadn’t been blanked at home by the Wolverines since a 31-0 loss in 1985, which featured Jim Harbaugh as the quarterback.
