Despite rising numbers of coronavirus cases in multiple states, there are a large number of people who still believe we should move forward with reopening the economy and get back to normal as much as possible.
One Kentucky Sports Radio caller is definitely one of those people, but he took his comments a step further.
A man who goes by ‘Big Al’ spoke with KSR’s Matt Jones about whether sports should be being played during the pandemic while trying to cite the 1918 flu pandemic.
Jones asked the caller how many people would need to die for him to not want things to be “normal.”
Jones then asked if the caller would be “cool” with one million people dying from coronavirus so we could have sports. His response?
“Yes because we would maintain our freedoms.”
