A college football player will likely have his short college football career come to an end after disturbing sexual assault allegations were thrown his way.
A Saint Francis University football player was arrested on campus after allegations that he raped a woman.
20-year-old Kendal Marks is facing charges of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, and indecent assault.
The defensive back was arrested on school property. Police state they were first alerted about this alleged rape that occurred in December 2022 in February.
Investigators state the victim told them she had agreed to help a friend move from her dorm just before Christmas break and would later hang out with Marks, who she previously knew from numerous meetings on campus.
She said things took a turn for the worse as they were watching a movie and Marks put his hand down her pants. She said the sophomore defensive back for the Red Flash football team began to molest her and allegedly forced her to perform sexual acts.

Police say Marks then reportedly began sexually assaulting the woman until she was eventually able to flee the room.
Security footage showed Marks and the unidentified woman walking into the dorm room before the rape, then they saw Marks leave that night while the girl left the next morning.
Marks was immediately suspended and won’t be allowed on campus. A Title IX investigation is underway.
An SFU representative also said the following:
“The safety of our students is always our primary priority. We take that responsibility very seriously and employ a fully trained University Police Department who work 24/7 to keep our campus secure. We urge anyone with knowledge of any inappropriate behavior at any time to contact University Police or the appropriate law enforcement agency.”
Marks was placed in Cambria County Prison with bail set at 10% of $55,000.
